Ipswich Golf Club is ideally situated on the eastern outskirts of Ipswich, with easy access from the A14.
Directions to the club
From Bury St Edmunds or Colchester
At the junction of A12/A14 at the Tescos roundabout – take A14 for Felixstowe, and proceed towards the Orwell Bridge. After the Orwell Bridge (about 1 mile) take the first slip road off. At the bottom of the slip road keep left. Take the 3rd exit at the next roundabout on to Ransomes Way. Go straight over the next roundabout, under a railway bridge opposite Sainsburys. Turn left at the roundabout and continue to the next roundabout (large church on the right hand side). Take the 3rd exit into Bucklesham Road. Continue for about 1 mile and the Ipswich Golf Club will be on the Left.
From Lowestoft or Woodbridge
Follow the A12 past Martlesham to the A12/A14 interchange (junction 58) Take the A14 to Bury St Edmunds and proceed towards Ipswich. Take the next exit at junction 57 on to the A1189 and follow the signs to the A & E Hospital. Take the 3rd exit at the next roundabout on to Ransomes Way. Go straight over the next roundabout, under a railway bridge opposite Sainsburys. Turn left at the roundabout and continue to the next roundabout (large church on the right hand side) Take the 3rd exit into Bucklesham Road. Continue for about 1 mile and the Ipswich Golf Club will be on the Left.
