Welcome to Ipswich Golf Club
Ipswich is a traditional members club offering a warm welcome to visitors, societies and prospective members. Golf has been played at Purdis Heath since 1926, although Ipswich Golf Club itself was founded 31 years earlier, in 1895. Originally located at nearby Rushmere Heath, the club moved to its present site to enjoy the delights of an 18 hole course designed by the legendary architect James Braid. Forty years later a 9 hole course was added – enjoying the same splendid heathland terrain as the main course.

Once the clocks have gone forward in spring, through to Sept, you can play a round of golf on the main course from 3.30pm on weekdays for £35 or for £40 at weekends and Bank Holidays, subject to prior arrangement
